Hero Review: [Play Arts Kai] Toshiro Hitsugaya - Bleach

Bleach is one of my favorite anime so this figure didn't stay long at the shelf the moment I saw it.  Meet Toshiro Hitsugaya, the shinigami captain of the 10th Division Squad in Soul Society.  His cold and serious demeanor is probably his most defining trait, and this figure did not fail to exhibit that.

Hero Review: [Play Arts Kai] Lightning - Final Fantasy XIII and XIII-2

After finishing Final Fantasy XIII and seeing the Play Arts Kai ad in its game brochure, I thought I’d reward myself with remarkable action figures of the heroes of the story. FFXIII Lightning is not actually my first Play Arts Kai figure, but I guess I’d showcase her first in this blog together with her feisty, armored FFXIII-2 counterpart, Valhalla Lightning.

I’d rather not admit being a spoiled little kid when I was young but as far as I can remember, I’ve owned a lot of toys back then – from LEGO blocks to action figures to flying, scaled, remote control planes. Needless to say, my playtime had never been dull. But like any other kid, most of the stuff I owned went to the dreaded bin of used toys. If only they produced Toy Story a little earlier.
